Alluding to German Unity Day, the program explores the sound of the baroque oboe in Bach's work. Playing period instruments, soloist Natalia Chahin performs the Concerto in A major for oboe d'amore, and accompanies soprano Cintia de los Santos in one of the composer's only profane cantatas, known as the "Cantata of Marriage". Directed by Fernando Cordella, this concert is part of the Bach Brasil Series, by the Bach Society Brasil, and has the support of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany.
